I really am a bit of a sad geek, but I also love reading about the history of mathematics. After reading a recommendation on this book I'm just getting into it. I'd have to say its probably going to be slightly more mathematical than some other history books I've read, but its started well.
The other thing about reading books about 'old' maths is that I at least stand a good chance of understanding most of it, as I did a lot of maths at school (both Math and Further Maths 'A'Level) and university.
All good fun, I'll report back when I've read a bit more.
